Can I create a Goodreads Widget?

I’ve just launched my children’s book ‘The Secret Lake’ and am promoting it via a free givaway on Goodreads. They have a very tasteful/nice looking widget availabe to support this and I wondered if/how it’s possible to add it to my above blog? I don’t understand anything about javascript and it warns that some sites may not accept the widget. What is the situation for me? I have pasted the code below. If I am not allowed to use it, is there anything else that I could do to achieve the same effect without breaking your rules? Please bear in mind that I am not at all technical – albeit I have built my blogs from scratch myself on WordPress and think your offering is gruly great :)
One other thing is that I do have a voucher from you that I can use to upgrade my blog due to a recent secrutiy breach. Would some sort of upgrade make it possible to include the widget if it’s not possible as things stand?
