  Should there be pictures with my GoodReads widget? I get a kind of “no” sign in a huge box but you can click on GoodReads below that to get my info! I don’t want a huge empty box above my GoodReads!

  Yes there should be images. To set the widget up, you first need to sign up for a GoodReads account. Did you do that? Have you checked out this support entry? http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/goodreads-widget/
