goodreads widget

  I have followed the instructions provided for setting up the goodreads widget and regardless of it I don’t get my books displayed it shows other randoms books which I’ve never even read in my life. please help

  Hi there,

  If you’re a Goodreads Author, your author ID may not match your user id. To display your bookshelf, you’ll need to fetch your ID from your public author page.

  Let me know if you’re still having trouble getting your bookshelf displayed correctly.

  I tried it the way it says I get books that are not mine.

  The books displayed on the widget are the first five from your “Read” list.
  Have you tried choosing another self, like “Currently Reading” or “To Read” ?

  I tried that and it didn’t work but I used the numeric id for the actual read page on my goodreads and it worked!
