Goodreads widget to my blog

  I want to display the books i have read (favorites) on my sidebar. Goodreads widget said to copy and paste the info onto my blog. I don’t know where to paste it. I tried the sidebar, but it didn’t work. After copying,where on my blog do I paste it. Inside admin site?
