Google 1 button

  I have a wordpress.com account and want to put up a Google +1 ‘like’ button for my posts. At present that doesn’t seem possible, which seems a bit odd. Will this be remedied in the foreseeable future?

  Not everyone uses facebook.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thank you.

  But I was wondering more about a ‘like’ button similar to the wordpress ‘Like’ button but for Google +. I don’t necessarily want my posts shared over and over on Facebook, Twitter or Google +, but I’d like to some idea what, on my blog, people like reading.

  Is that possible?

  There’s been lots of previous discussion on Google plus in many support forum threads. See here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/google-plus

  Note that we cannot post any JavaScript like buttons from third party sites as software will strip the code out for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  Oh right. Fair enough. It’s a shame, but I guess we can’t have everything :D

  Hopefully, you understand that you can display only a Google + icon in sharing so it appears below your posts and no other sharing buttons appear. I thought I’d best mention that just in case you missed it.
