  hi, I’m wondering how I can get my site to appear on google search?

  Hi,

  The site might be appearing for two reasons.

  1. Make sure your website is set to “Public” in the Privacy settings. And make sure “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” is not checked. You can see how to get to the Privacy settings here.

  2. If the site is new, it can actually take a bit of time before it shows up on Google. About 4-6 weeks according to this support article. There are few tips on this same support article on what to do to possible speed up this process and help your site appear in Google results.

  Hi there,

  Your site is only 5 days old and only has a handful of posts, so it’s completely normal that you won’t see it in Google yet. This process takes several weeks, as explained above.

  For now, the best thing you can do is continue posting regularly. Each time you post we ping Google and other search engines to index your site, so the more often you post, the faster this process will complete.
