  Hello,
  I am creating a charity page for the 215th Totley Scout Group and I want to know if the website will be visible on google or other web searching sites.

  It absolutely should be visible on Google with the right search terms.

  @iaewing https://215thtotleyscoutsgroup.wordpress.com/ was only set up three hours ago and is unlikely to be found on Google just yet.

  @215thtotleyscouts It can take a few weeks for search engines to index new sites. Keep posting and eventually it will be added to their listings. For now people will have to access your site by typing the full address into a browser address bar.

  cheers for the advise. Just wanted to check before I finished it. Will it only come up if you enter 215th totley scouts group or will it work with just words from it like totley scouts or 215th totley scouts

  Eventually all combinations of the above. Incidentally aren’t search engines strange things that we have so quickly got used to for so many facets of life?!? Typing Totley Scouts WordPress into Bing and the first result I see is your question in this very forum (It seems WordPress.com forums are now heavily…and instantly…. indexed by Google etc):-
