  Unfortunately not with a Personal plan. To monetize your site you’ll need to be on a Premium or Business plan. Advertising is done through Word Ads.

  Are you referring to running Google AdSense ads?

  The Premium and Business plans have automatic access to the WordAds program… the ads shown do pull from the Google marketplace, however, it is not selective… you get all Marketplaces ( Google AdSense, Facebook Audience Network, Amazon a9, AOL Marketplace, Yahoo, Criteo, Quantcast, and dozens of other. see: https://wordads.co/ )

  If you’d like to use third-party ad networks like Google AdSense, those options are available on the WordPress.com Business Plan.
