Google Ads seen on my WP.com blog–Why? How?
-
I have a few WordPress.com blogs although I have moved my main content offsite using WordPress.org to http://newBBie.com. But here’s the thing: Moments ago I visited one of my WordPress.com blogs AND SAW GOOGLE ADS DISPLAYED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HOME PAGE. I’m not crazy. I have Google ads on my newBBie site–I know them when I see them. They were there, at http://blackberrybold.wordpress.com. No joke. Next time, I’ll make a screenshot. Anybody have an explanation for this happening?

Panic Not!
Although I can’t find anything in the FAQ about this, there are a few threads in the forum. This one for example:
with the first reply from raincoaster:
1) WordPress.com itself runs them; they are not supposed to show up for most people, just ones coming from search engines who are not regular WP.com readers.
2) You won’t. See above.
3) and?
4) Yes, everyone encounters this. It is on all blogs except the VIP ones. There are many threads about it in the forum already
5) You cannot, short of qualifying and paying for the VIP upgrade, which is several hundred dollars a month.I hope this helps!
