Why are google ads still appearing on my blog after I purchased the upgrade

I purchased the no ad upgrade when I started my blog last year but at random over the last year google ads have been appearing I know because every once in a while a friend of mine will go on my blog and then tell me there are ads, I have seen them with my own eyes on my blog when a friend opened my page on thier computer, also every once in a while I see a visitor has clicked a link that is an “ad by google” so they are there, just not all the time and I paid for the no ads, how do I get rid of ALL the ads ALL the time? thanks!

I don’t see a record of a purchase for a No Ads upgrade on your eliseweatherby account – did you purchase this upgrade using a different account?

I purchased it June 19 2010 I can see the purchase when I log in and look at the upgrades area I only have one wordpress account, so perhaps somthing has gone wrong?

I just checked again since ironically it is the 20th today and sure enough the no ads up grade is not there today because it has been exactly a year and expired(even though it said it would renew automatically? and it did not?)….I will buy it again if it will work this time but I did pay for it last year and it didn’t work?
