Google Ads under every blog post .

As far as I know we cant display ads in the free blog , we have to pay for that , but I just noticed today that there are adds under every post on my blog . How is this possible ? Who is showing ads there ?
Above every ad there is writter “Ads by Google” . Is Google displaying those ads ? or its WordPress.com ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is how WordPress.com pays the bills so they can give you a “free” blog. Read your Terms of Service.

You can if you wish, get the no ads upgrade to remove them.
Also, see the very bottom of the “features” page where they talk about the ads.
