Google adsd
-
I am wondering if anyone is having problems with Google ads showing up on the comments page of their blog? I don’t think that they appear when you are signed in to your account. But we have been viewing the comments and upon hitting the refresh button, the “Google ad” appears. I have had as many as 4 at one time. Is it spam? Is it a setting? I appreciate any help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sure thing! Here is the link http://crosswaylife.wordpress.com/. I’m not sure why the person was doing it, but she clicked on the title of the post and was looking at the comments. When she refreshed the page, that is when the ads appeared.

She said that they didn’t appear when she was logged in to WordPress, though. Only when viewing the blog. I hope this makes sense.

OOPS! I’m so sorry. :(
Now I understand. If you click the advertising link I provided above you will find that wordpress.com does run Google Adsense on our blogs here. The only way to have no ads appear at all is to purchase the $30 per year No-Ads upgrade. -
Staff runs Adsense from to time to time on our blogs so that WP.com can stay free if your logged in the cookie setting should prevent you from seeing the ads. On the other hand if you sign out and clear your browser cache and cookies and land on your blog from the Google search engine you may see occasional ads. there is an upgrade to remove these ads. more details found here » http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

I was confused – I didn’t think we were doing anything wrong, but didn’t know for sure.
The no-ads upgrade makes sense. I will let my boss know about that. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the WordPress policies. :-) -
I’m sorry I misunderstood you at first, Teresa. We get many posting here who want to have their own Google Adsense ads. Best wishes with the blog. :)
