I created an ad through Google AdSense, I know it will take a while as Google will need to crawl your website and verify its content prior to approving it. I am just curious to know whether I set it up correctly, Are you able to help to verify it? My website is onlinepostgraduate.com Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

You are not allowed to add Google AdSense or any other advertising to your blog, and doing so will get your blog suspended: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

Also, the fact that you have your own domain makes no difference as you are still hosted by WordPress.com:
Note that advertising outside of the WordAds program is not supported. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#important-notes-before-upgrading

Thank you for your prompt reply. I think i mess up between wordpress.com and wordpress.org….i will remove the ad immediately. I appreciate your help.

If you’re self-hosted you should be able to add that, yes. Just make sure you remove the ads from your WP.com site in the meantime so your site doesn’t get suspended before you can move it.
As you have your own domain you might also qualify for WordAds, so I recommend checking that out. Link in my first reply.
