I am trying to implement Google Adsense onto my site and it says in order to do that I need a self-hosted site. I thought I had a self-hoested site but now I’m not so sure. I was wondering how I can tell if I have a self-hosted site and how I can properly implement Adsense? Thank you!

You have a site hosted at WordPress.com, not a self-hosted site.

If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
