Google adsense
-
Hi all,
Im trying to place a google adsense code onto my blog but every time i copy/paste it into the text box it changes when i click save. Is this an error with the site or a restriction by wordpress.
Im hoping its not a restriction otherwise im going to change hosts
You can also check my blog to see how it looks
Any advice anyone?
This is the code:
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<!– bottom –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle”
style=”display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px”
data-ad-client=”ca-pub-5664584351239764″
data-ad-slot=”1642694339″></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>
But when i save it turns into:
//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js
<!– bottom –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle” style=”display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px;”></ins>(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Your site is hosted by WordPress.com, which does not allow third party advertising like AdSense. As long as you’re creating original content, you can use affiliate links or write sponsored contents. If your blog has moderate to heavy traffic, you can use the in-house ad network called WordAds.
More information here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
If you’d like to use third party advertising, WordPress.org on a self hosted site is the way to go.
