Google AdSense after transferring

  Hi,

  Please, I would like some information.

  I just transferred my .com domain from wordpress.com to another registrar.

  My problem is when I try to register my domain in Google AdSense. It wouldn’t allow me to do it.

  I think it is because wordpress.com blocked it somehow or had registered it before, am I wrong?

  Hi there,

  We lost all control over your domain the moment the registration was transferred away from us, so we couldn’t block your use of it even if we wanted to. But we also don’t block any domains registered with us from use with any services, period. Adsense cannot be used on WordPress.com as it requires plugins or custom code that we don’t allow on sites without a Business Plan upgrade, and has nothing to do with the domain.

  If you’re unable to register it with Google Adsense you need to contact Google support to find out what the problem is, and work with your new registrar to fix it.
