Google Adsense – Do I need Premium package??

  Hi all,

  I’ve been trying to add google adsense to my page and include adverts; however, any time I paste the HTML in to my posts or a text widget, all it shows is the actual text and doesn’t add the adverts.

  I am a complete beginner with wordpress and don’t understand HTML or how to edit this on my site; however, I’m wondering if perhaps I need to purchase Premium package before I’m allowed to use adsense on the site?

  I currently use WordPress for my blog and have a paid for Domain.

  Can anyone please advise me on how I might be able to get adsense included on my site, and if i need to upgrade??
