Google adsense on a free account

    Greetings wordpress. I’m currently attempting to set up adsense, but I’ve ran into a bit of turmoil. You see, Google adsense told me to copy and paste an html into the two head tags on my site. I can’t find where it is. I believe it’s in the editor in appearance, but that option isn’t there when I looked. Do I need a paid subscription to access the editor?

    Also, it gave me another long html code to copy and paste into the custom html in widgets, but when I copied and pasted it directly, that didn’t work either as the widget had several red Xs that said there was an error, despite copying and pasting exactly as it was from Google adsense. Do I need a paid subscription for this as well?

    I sure would appreciate any help I can receive

    Google Analytics is not available for free WordPress.com sites. To use GA on WordPress.com requires the purchase of a Premium, Business, or eCommerce plan. More information can be found here:
