Google Adwords Does Not Like WordPress
-
Dear Community,
I run an advertising agency and we use WordPress to build sites for our clients. Throughout the last month, I’ve seen many of our domains being flagged with “Malicious or unwanted software” on Google Adwords. I’ve contacted help from Google and learned that Adwords is flagging many static files (CSS and JS) from my sites.
After a little more digging, it appears that most of these files are either native to WordPress or are from popular plugins such as WooCommerce. Searching for “Adwords WordPress Malicious Software” yields many results from fellow innocent webmasters who spent hours and even days trying to figure out what is “malicious” about their sites.
Is WordPress aware of this issue? Has any representative at WordPress gotten in touch with someone at Adwords regarding finding a fix for this?

Hi there,
Looks like you’re in the wrong forum. It appears that you’re talking about the self-hosted version of WordPress and you need to post at the WordPress.org forums:

These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
