Google Analytics

  Is it possible to add the Google Analytics code onto my blog? I want to be able to track hits, page views and more but when I enter it into the blog it just gives me the code as in normal text.

  No, it’s not possible to add Google Analytics to our own pages because Automattic are using it for their own stats:

  Too bad. Clients wanting Google Analytics on their site could potentially want it for their blogs as well.

  You’re not talking about free WordPress.com-hosted blogs, I think. You’re probably talking about independent installs of WordPress on other servers, in which case of course you can have Google analytics or Awstats or whatever you like.
