  Is there any way to use google analtics with a hosted wordpress blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  At WordPress.COM we do not have access to google analytics for our blog.

  Self Hosted with wordpress .ORG do, ask For more info at their forum

  The problem with the built in statistics is that I cannot see where traffic is coming from. Is there any option or upgrade that would allow me to do that?

  No there is no upgrade for stats.

  You can however use the plain HTML version of statcounter or sitemeter. The plain HTML versions do not give as much stuff as the full version, but they do give general location information.
