  hi, how can i add google analytics for my site? i dont see the measurement id box on my traffic settings.
  it ask me to upgrade, but i dont want to upgrade my site right now.

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  Hello there,

  Google Analytics can be added via plugins and plugins cannot be installed on free plans. It is necessary to upgrade to the WordPress Business plan in order to do that.

  Hi there,

  You can add Google Analytics to your site, no plugin needed. To do that you will need our Premium plan (or higher) however. More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/google-analytics/

  I suppose I need to buy the premium plan for using site kit by google plugin

  Site Kit is a bit different. It includes the ability to set up Analytics but that is just one of the things it does. To use Google’s Site Kit plugin you will need the Business plan or higher. It is not possible to install plugins on the Premium plan.

  oh hi there staff totoro,

  I get what u mean if I am not mistaken
  if I buy the premium plan, I must set GA manually right?

  but for using site kit, I need business plan and a lot easier to integrate with all google tools right?

  That’s correct yes.

  The business plan would need to be in place in order to use Google Site Kit.

  Google Site Kit differs in the fact that it helps to connect a site to other Google services where possible in one panel, rather than just GA.
