  I know wordpress.com is using Google Analytics and gives us, the bloggers limited stats information.

  Is there any way to see some extended stats? such as return visitors, unique, which SE is reffering, country of the visitors, etc.

  Not in Google analytics form, but you can get that some of that information from Clustrmaps, Sitemeter, etc. None of them will give you uniques without the javascript version which we can’t use, though.
