  Can I install Google Analytics on my free WordPress site?? I am using GoDaddy.com for my hosting, but I am not using WordPress.org. I am using the mapping feature of WordPress, which I paid for so it would redirect to my .com When I tried using WordPress.org, I exported my blog info from WordPress.com and then imported it into WordPress.org and it only brought in half my posts, and other issues.

  No, Google Analytics cannot be used on WordPress.com blogs at this time. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info

  Note: There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes this. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins.   I do have a .com through GoDaddy.com and it is hosted, however when I tried to switch over from WordPress.com to WordPress.org, I used import & export & lost quite a bit of my posts and work. Is this typical??
