Google Analytics
-
Having some difficulty configuring my blog with my google analytics account. I have the google UA and the script. Can’t figure out how to add the script to the blog.
Thanks in advance….
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Quite easy actually – you can’t use GA on a WordPress.COM blog – the code gets stripped out for security reasons (script)
you can use other third party stats programs if they have plain html codes

The answer is we cannot use Google Analytics on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Do you understand that?
-
The code for Google Aalytics is stripped out / not allowed for security reasons

There’s nothing to figure out here – no you can’t use Google Analytics on a free hosted WordPress.com blog means no you can’t use Google Analytics on a free hosted wordpress.com blog … lol :D
