Google Analytics and Yoast Not working

So basically, l have been trying to install Google analytics for the longest time but it never ever works on my blog. When it asks me to connect it to my google account l do so and l get the key and put it in but it ALWAYS says ‘bad google code’ l have even made a new account but it isn’t working. When l download Yoast, My pages stop working and an error message comes up, when l remove it they are fine. I am so frustrated and l don’t know what is going on. My theme is Edge.

WordPress org Support
If you don’t have an account there you will have to Register a new one.
