  Hi,
  I was wondering if it is possible to put the Google Analytics tracking code in my blog?
  I’m just using the wordpress.com interface and i couldn’t find any place where i can add it on the dashboard…
  I tried adding it on each page or post but it didn’t work.

  I once made a homepage for someone, we also added some code for google to find out, how often the blog is visited and so on. but we had to add this code to our php-files like site.php.

  to edit these files, you have to download your wordpress application and work with your own server or, you have to pay for the upgrade at wordpress.com

  There is no way to use Google Analytics code on WordPress.com. And to correct gatsch above, there is no available upgrade that allows you to use it.

  There is no way to implement Google Analytics with wordpress.com, not even with an Upgrade.

  i don’t know exactly if it was “Google Analytics”, but it was some kind of Search engines optimisation.

  There is no way to use Google Analytics code on WordPress.com even if i use my own domain ?

  No there is not.

  If you self-host your blog on a third-party hosting service using the software from wordpress.ORG, then you can, but now with blogs hosted here at wordpress.COM.
