Google Analytics Coding help
-
I read in the FAQ’s that Google Analytics coding is not permitted, but I am wondering why that is? From what I understand to be true from Google, I am allowed to code my own blog in WordPress.
My non-profit is asking me to set up coding on our blog, and in order to get tracking, they want it to all roll up to our Analytics account code.
Please help me understand how I can get this done. I mentioned that there was a blog tracker we could use, but they need it to all roll up to our Google code.
Thanks in advance for any assistance as this is very important to our funding!

WordPress.COM does not allow us to use Google Analytics. Google is talking about self-hosted blogs, not blogs hosted here at wordpress.COM.

The link in your user name, BTW, leads to a site not hosted here at wordpress.COM. If you have a wordpress.COM blog, please consider changing your user name to include that instead of the other site. It makes it easier for volunteers in the forums to know that you are in the right place.

First off, please don’t hijack threads with different issues. Start a new one.
It will take search engines anywhere from a week to six weeks to find and index your blog, and typically it takes about two weeks before your blog will start showing up in the wordpress global tags pages. The spammers can be blamed for the delay in showing up on the tags pages. WordPress had to institute a delay because of them.
As long as your blog is not set to private, and you have it set to allow search engines to index it under settings > privacy the search engines will find you. Just make sure to keep posting original material regularly.
