google analytics/ custom email addresses

    Hello wordpress community,
    I have 2 questions:
    1. What do I need to do/change/purchase so as to allow for using google analytics on my site?
    2. I already own a domain. For $13 you guys can remap the domain to that web address, correct? It also says that you can create personalized email addresses. What is the platform options for checking those emails? Also, can those messages be forwarded?

    1) can’t do as long as you are on WordPress.COM – no upgrade gets you Analytics – but there are several other stats packages that work & Quantcast is built in – you might need to ask them to start tracking your blog

    2) WordPress.COM does not host the email – but you have several options – start here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/
