Google Analytics for free wordpress blog

  With just a free site, I understandthat I can’t install plugins. I read on Google that if I want to connect my site to Analytics, I should go to APPEARANCE > EDITOR…the thing is, when I click Appearance in my dashboard there’s no ‘editor’ . Is there other way to connect my site to the Google Analytics? thanks

  You can only use Google Analytics on a WordPress.com site if you have a business plan.
