    Why is Google Analytics telling me that my WP had only one visit during the last month whereas WP STATS counted 435 for the same period?

    Note we cannot install Google Analytics on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no upgrade here aside from your blog being accepted into VIP hosting that allows you to run Google Analytics.

    This is a multi-user blogging platform. Our blogs share a common architecture. We bloggers cannot access metadata on free hosted WordPress.com blogs and install any tracking code, we have no FTP access and we cannot install any plugins.

    FTP access, and plugins are available only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    You will need to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set you your own WordPress.org software install to install any plugins.

    We provide support at WordPress.COM only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs. That is not a free hosted WordPress.com site and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    Thanks Timethief. That was really useful. Place there “WP.ORG” looks like desert. IT sounds very technical.

    Anyway I found this in STATS support “Can I use Google Analytics?
    No, Google Analytics cannot be used on WordPress.com blogs at this time”
    I don’t know if blog here = free blog or not!

    Now, why i’m not able to register my blog with MS Word that enable me to directly post from there?

    Appreciate your effort ..

    This is a free hosted WordPress.com blog http://damiettasp.com/ and you cannot use Google Analytics on it.

    Word is a word processing program and it’s not web compliant. You cannot post from it.

    Go here and enable this > Settings > Writing
    Formatting

    “save changes”

    I recommend using Windows Live Writer for posting to your blog > http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/windows-live-writer/

    You need to be cautious and use the correct approach when copying and pasting from any document created in a word processor.

    Microsoft Word is a word processing program that’s not compliant with web standards.
