Google analytics is showing up as a click on my stats page
-
Hi there,
I have a wordpress.com blog, so I know that I can’t use google analytics. Today, on my wordpress stats page, under the ‘clicks’ heading, I can see the the usual list of my files that people have clicked to download, plus a heading that says ‘google analytics’. Under this heading there are 5 clicks recorded, showing as links to google pages. When I try to follow the link to the pages I get a google page that says ‘error, page not found’. I’m just wondering what this is, since I obviously don’t have google analytics installed, so I don’t see how anyone could have clicked on it from my site. I hope this makes sense. I have a screenshot of it if that helps. My site is http://earlyyearsenglish.wordpress.comThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Thank you for that screenshot! Please leave that screenshot in your media library for now.
I need to do a little more investigation on what might be going on here and I will get back to you once I have more information.
Thank you!

Hi there!
There was a small bug that was creating those stats that we have now fixed. You can ignore those 5 clicks since they’ll remain in your stats.
I hope that clarifies things!
