google apps

So I’ve currently got my domain e-mail running on google apps (i.e. their Gmail version for another domain). In order to do this, I host a file called ‘googlehostedservice.html’ with a little verification code in it, as well as point my mx records to gmail servers. Here’s the problem: I want to just run my domain on wordpress, but I can’t figure out how I’ll do these things once I reset the nameserver forwarding. Not only do I not have access to my mx records on wordpress, but I guess wordpress doesn’t even allow you to upload an html file. Anybody have any suggestions?

If you take a look to this FAQ:

Q: I have mail for domain.com that I want to keep using. If I change my nameservers, will this stop working?
A: Yes, it will. If you have mail or other DNS records that you need to maintain for domain.com, you cannot currently add those here. This probably means domain mapping of domain.com is not an option for you unless you are willing to give up email on domain.com. You can still map a subdomain of domain.com and maintain this functionality, so read on! Outside DNS records may be available in the future, so stay tuned.

Here at wordpress you can only upload jpg jpeg png gif pdf doc ppt files.
