Google Apps DKIM key in DNS records
-
I can’t enter my Google Apps DKIM key in my Domain’s custom DNS records, as per http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=174124
I get “TXT data must be 192 characters or shorter.”
I saw some posts from a couple of years ago mentioning this and the replies all said it would be fixed soon. In 2011. It’s 2013 now. Will this be fixed?

You can setup and authenticate your email through Google Apps following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

Our technical team had a look at this and unfortunately we aren’t yet able to support these long TXT records. It’s on the road map to add support for them, but we don’t yet have an ETA. In the meantime, the workaround is to use a CNAME to another domain, not hosted by us, that serves the TXT record.
