Google Apps Email when DNS is changed?
-
I’m helping a friend move from WordPress.com to WordPress.org. She registered a domain with WordPress.com and set up email using the Google App. She is moving to Blue Host and we know how to change the DNS servers to point over there, but I was wondering what will happen to her current email account when we do that? Can she still access it through GMail as if nothing changed?
Thanks for your help!

If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers
re: Google apps
This is how the set here was done > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

You can refer to their support documentation for help on how to change Google Apps Email service. http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/business/support.html
