Google Apps for WordPress.com blog
-
Hello,
I’d like to set up an e-mail address ((email visible only to moderators and staff), etc.) for my WordPress-hosted blog. I’ve got the domain and you’re hosting it, but I can’t seem to find any way to update my settings (i.e. editing title tags, uploading HTML files to the server, DNS record adding…) on the interface. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Jay

WordPress.com does not provide a cpanel or email services like other web hosting providers. At WordPress.com, we offer a free WordPress blog with optional paid upgrades like custom domains. To setup the proper DNS settings so you can use email for your custom domain, use the Store → Domains → Edit DNS page. Here are the relevant help pages:

Note that you cannot upload HTML files to the server through a WordPress.com account, but you can upload other types of files through the media library: http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/
