Google Apps – Keep email, but point website to WordPress
-
I have a Google Apps account and use it for email with a custom domain. I also have a WordPress Blog. Can I keep my email at Google Apps, but use the same domain name – castlerockexec.com to point to point to my castlerockexec.wordpress.com blog ? If so what are the exact steps to accomplish this …I know the DNS records need to be changed – nameservers
I have viewed several conflicting opinions – some says – no problem and others say – sure BUT you will lose access to custom domain emails on Google.

This isn’t a matter of opinion > WordPress.com does not provide an email, service for domains they are domain mapping. What’s suggested is setting up email through Google Apps. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

The guides for purchasing a domain mapping upgrade and mapping to an existing domain are found here:
