Google Apps move to a new host
-
I’ve purchased hosting on HostGator.com to try and centralize my handful of websites. I want to move my andrew-miller.com blog over there and I believe I know how to do that (thanks to these forums) but my bigger concern is that I signed up for Google Apps via the WordPress Hosting. You know how you can enable it under the Domain function.
Anyhow, that email is my lifeline and I don’t want to lose it. I purchased the domain from Godaddy a couple years ago and thus the nameserver is currently pointing to wordpress.com but I don’t know how that interacts with Google Apps. How do I transfer that over? Currently the only way I access it is via going directly to the google apps website so it seems like it is somewhat separate from wordpress hosting but I don’t know.
Is there anything I need to be aware of in regards to my google apps account if I close my wordpress hosting? Thanks!

There is information here about using google MX, but not about moving it somewhere else.
