    Hello all

I have already posted in a previous thread and sent an email to WordPress support but haven’t heard back yet.

Last week I deleted the Google Authenticator app by mistake and now cannot log into my blog anymore. My blog is oredistile.wordpress.com

I imagine that WordPress support has an option to give me access and delete/eliminate the need for Google Authenticator?

I really hope so… And would like to hear from you soon.

    Thank you

    Matteo

P.S. Staff work forward form the support tickets and threads with the earliest date stamps to the most recent one. There is an account recovery backlog and posting more than one thread or contacting Staff more than connect on any support issue moves the date stamp forward in time so it takes longer to get help.

Thank you. I did already last week but haven’t heard back. Do you know the average waiting time?

A week is a long time to wait. I don’t know what the average waiting time is a and I don’t believe any Volunteer knows that. However, I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do to expedite this process.

I already did that. However, do note there are many other bloggers who posted days before you did and as I said above, Support Staff services the earliest dated requests first.

There is a backlog of account recovery requests. Staff work their way through support tickets and forum threads tagged for their attention by dealing with those that have the earliest date and timestamps first, then moving forward to deal with those that have the most recent date and time stamps. Please be patient while waiting for Staff to assist the bloggers who posted before you did.
