Google Authenticator = no longer an option?

  Are you saying that you no longer support Google Authenticator since it appears to be a plugin?

  Sorry if it’s a dumb question, but site navigation is not friendly. “Settings” that doesn’t have any settings, “Plugins” that exists on one site but not the other, “Installation” of things that doesn’t appear possible…too much to think about.

  Simple question: Can one still do Google Authenticator REGARDLESS of what site they’re on? If so, what are the simple bullet steps to do so?

  My site appears to be on .com for what that’s worth. If it can’t be done because it’s .com that’s unfortunate, since LastPass can do it without a problem.

  There’s something called “Google Webmaster Tools” under Dashboard >> Tools >> Available Tools.

  Is that what you’re looking for?

  No. Google Webmaster Tools are for central views of activity.

  I’m talking about Google Authenticator.

  I am not asking about Google Authenticator in general. I am asking about WordPress support with Google Authenticator.

  Says it is possible. However I find NO such settings. It’s a simple friggin question – does it work or does it not work??

  Let me clearly state that I don’t own any of these devices so naturally I don’t have answers that pertain to devices I don’t own or use. What I do know is that here at WordPress.com XML-RPC is always enabled by default.

  These applications may ask for something like an XML-RPC (or API) endpoint, which will be your blog domain followed by “xmlrpc.php”. So, for example, if your blog was at matt.wordpress.com, your endpoint would be:
  http://matt.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/
