    Hello,

I have done a very stupid thing. I removed the Google Authenticator from my old device without properly updating the app on my new device. The help I need is for a wordpress account i use in combination with my self hosted site http://www.bakkenzoalsoma.nl
And I have set the text authication but I don’t receive the codes. I do receive the codes when i change my password. I used this account for my gravatar and follow a few blogs on that account. Out of pure despair I had to sign up with a new account to post this thread.

Please don’t say I should post this thread on the wordpress.org site, because there I see similar threads refering to the wordpress.com site.

Is there any way I can get acces to the account? So the username I use on that account is alesig1979

    Please help

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

If the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

If you are not successful, then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thank you so much for your reply.

But I can acces my blog. The problem is that I have lost acces to my wordpress.com account because I can’t receive a verification code. I have tried resetting my password, but that doesn’t override the 2-way authentication.

I have tried to fill in the form for the account recovery, but because the account I want to recover is not a wordpress.com blog. I can’t send the form because when I fill my blogs name the form tells me that I should go to wordpress.org.
    That doesn’t work.

The only option I have is to change everything to the new account I made today out of despair, but if I could get a new code from the wordpress support or something I can do myself that would save me a lot of trouble.

    greetings
    Alesig

An update. I wasn’t able to activate the text-verification code on my laptop. But I solved the problem. I tried to retrieve the text verification code on my phone and was able to do so. I used the code to unlock my account.

    Greetings
    Alesig

    Hi there,

I installed blog defender and Itheme security-pro … and also I Connnected Google Authenticator for 2-step authentication, unfortunately my phone glass broke (can’t be fix) and don’t have access to the app with the codes, I don’t have the secondary codes either, I can’t getting into my site account via wp, login cause I need the codes… any help will be very much appreciated. Nlsn

I filled this form below but it tells me that it does not recognize the domain…?
    https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

I did change way back when I was doing all the security for my site I changed the wp-admin t “http://www.n2details.com/70_7detailslogin”
Im not sure if this is also an issue,

    Domain: n2details.com

I do have the password to login but the issue still is the Two-factor Authentication Code.

Any help will be very much appreciated, thank you.

    @nlsnc
What is the URL of your blog?

We do not provide support for any blogs that are not hosted by wordpress.COM and our support docs do not refer to any sites except wordpress.COM hosted blogs.
