Google Authorship for WordPress

My blog is already linked to my Google + account. All of my posts are automatically published there. I’m trying to qualify for Google Authorship which automatically publishes my picture along with my posts, indicating that I am the author of the content and that it is not a reblog or copy and paste site.
The information I’ve read about attaining this designation requires copying and pasting code into my site. I have already paste these lines
+KHAWAJA UMER FAROOQthrough text widget on my main page but Google structured data tool is still showing message ” Authorship is not working for this webpage.
I think my themes is not supporting. Please advise me.

I have linked and verified my site via Google web master tool and now in my Google plus profile link section my site is showing as verified site.
What i do next?

I was able to verify authorship for your blog by entering this link to your Google+ page in your sidebar:
https://plus.google.com/+KHAWAJAUMERFAROOQ/about?rel=author
The old link:
https://plus.google.com/KHAWAJAUMERFAROOQ/about?rel=author
Was just lacking the plug sign (+) and that could be why it wasn’t working at first.
