Google Calendar events not populating

  Hello.
  I’ve added a Text widget to populate my Google calendar on our site. While the widget shows up in the sidebar, none of the events appear on the calendar. On the Google side, I’ve made sure the Make This Calendar Public is selected. I’ve copied and pasted the Embed This Calendar code into the Text widget. However, none of the events are there. Specifically, I have an event on April 20th and April 25th, and I’ve tripled checked they are there on the Google calendar.

  What am I missing? What am I doing wrong? Is there another way that I could populate a calendar for upcoming events. Using the Upcoming Events widget does populate data from iCal, but the text gets cut off. I would prefer people to see all the upcoming events.
