Google Calendar in RSS widget displaying weird text

  Hi

  I am having an issue with the RSS feed widget trying to display a Google Calendar. The date text is displaying strangely;

  Open Day – Show 1
  When: Śāŧ Āpř 9, 2011 11āƜ to 12pƜ EST
  Where: DanceArts United
  Event Status: confirmed

  I can’t seem to find a reason nor a solution to this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s happened to me on and off. I think it is on Google’s side, so WordPress can’t do anything about it. I deleted my past events, and that seemed to clear it up for awhile, but it’s back.

  Damn. That’s annoying.

  I would really like to feed events to the blog. Are there alternatives to Google Calendar?
