I simply added a link to my google calendar in my blog roll, works a treat, there’s probably a cleverer way of doing it but that might be enough for what you want, you can check out hot it looks and works in my blog roll in the sidebar on my blog – http://thehappysnapper.wordpress.com/

@matthewgallowaygolf: Create a page with the link to the calendar as its title. Note that the name of the link must include a space (two words, or one word plus a space).

Also note that it’s more helpful if you paste the exact URL of your blog, like thehappysnapper did, or if you link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know.

ok. thanks, i think i got it, but one question – theres a gap on the top where the link exists, how can that be elimnated ?

sorry, im very new to all this.

Yes you got it alright. No you can’t eliminate the gap* (it’s the blank tab of the actual page). That’s the (small) price you pay for breaking the rule – rule being no html codes in titles. (Note: the official answer from WP is that what you did can’t be done!)

*Unless you switch to another theme. The trick works perfectly in some themes, not so perfectly in some others, very badly in several others – see here:

    Page tabs as extra links

But to me the way the gap separates “Home” from the other tabs makes the look acceptable. If you don’t like it, I can offer a further trick: paste this before “BIO” in the title box (html for blank spaces):

That will move “BIO” further to the right; play with the number of repetitions till you get the proper distance.
