Google calendar: shortcode and embedding don't agree?

  I have a page where I’m testing embedding a Google calendar vs. using the “upcomingevents” shortcode with the iCal feed for the same calendar, and seem to have odd results. The page is:

  At the bottom of the page is the embedded calendar, which at the moment shows one morning & one afternoon event for five weekdays starting tomorrow. Above that is a table created with the embed code. For the 17th and 18th, it shows 2 morning events and 2 afternoon events instead of 1 of each.

  At the Google Calendar, after inserting the shortcode, I made changes to the titles of Monday and Tuesday events, without adding any new events. The shortcode version is displaying events twice because I changed the name of an event, as far as I can tell. The embedded version is not.

  Second paragraph says “embed code” instead of “shortcode”. Sorry.
