Google Can’t Find Me

  Hello,
  I tried to submit my site to Google – and received a message back saying URL NOT FOUND.

  The requested URL /addurl/Captcha?q=http%3A%2F%2Ff1dblog.wordpress.com%2F&dq=Professional+Photography+%2F+Focus+One+Design&continue=%2Faddurl&id=5299998500501062829&hl=&captcha=&submit=Add+URL was not found on this server.

  How do I get Google / and other search engines to find a wordpress.com blog ?

  I have ensured the site is capable of showing to search engines.

  Any help appreciated, many thanks.

  This is the URL you have to submit to google: http://f1dblog.wordpress.com/ .

  Hello,

  Yes I had done that exactly as you mention :).. .What I copied in my earlier post was their reply – saying URL not found.

  The URL of http://f1dblog.wordpress.com – returns a 404 Error – Url Not Found.

  How do I get Google and other search engines to find me ?

  Hello there,
  It can take 4 – 6 weeks before your posts are indexed and appearing in SERPs (search engine page results).  You need to get a Google webmasters account and verify your blog ownership with the 4 big search engines by following these instructions which thesacredpath linked to above and if you cannot succeed following those instructions then by now as you have posted so frequently  to this forum you must have twigged to the fact that you need Staff assistance. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

  Thank you so much timetheif. I have registered at Google webmaster and have posted to Bing and Google… It says it can take 3 days before I see it appear in Search engines.

  Don’t be surprised if it takes longer than 3 days and if it does take longer then please note that posting to this forum fretting about it would be an exercise in futility.
