Google Checkout Donation Button – stripping java
-
I’ve been trying to figure out how to embed a Google checkout *Donation* button to my blog — which is the homepage of a non-profit organization ecumenicalwomen.org . I know that it has something to do with javascript, and that people have previously been able to solve this problem with the Paypal Donation buttons.
Has anyone had this problem before and worked it out? Any way for me to figure out how to play with the HTML so that it works out? Advice would be much appreciated.
…Keep in mind, I’m an HTML novice. Clarity, please. ;)

You cannot use the javascript button as javascript is not allowed here.
This FAQ tells how to put a paypal donation button on your blog, but I don’t know if there is anyway to do a google button. http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/06/23/how-do-i-add-a-paypal-button/

Thanks, both of you.
Yes I know javascript isn’t allowed. But I also know that people have done enough manipulation of the code with the Paypal button to make it work, it’s just that I don’t have the expertise to figure out how to replicate that with the Google Checkout Donate button. So, just checking to see if anyone has already done anything of the sort…
Perhaps I should email the WordPress staff directly?
