Google Chrome browser issues with Shop Options box

    Recently I found out that folks who use Google Chrome for a browser cannot select “Options” for items in my shop. I have verified that the shop Options work fine with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, and Mozilla/Firefox browsers but not with Google Chrome.

    Is there a fix for this?

    Anyone else have the same issue?

    Interestingly, on Google Chrome, I am as of yet unable to replicate that behaviour.

    Can you tell me if this is happening to a product in particular, or if there’s a collection of products where this is happening.

    Additionally, how many reports from customers have you managed to obtain?

    It happens to all the items I have in my shop that have the “OPTION” block. I have had two customers note that they could not select options and both use Chrome. I personally checked with my son and my wife’s computers. My son uses Chrome and I could not select the options. My Wife uses Mozilla/Firefox and it works fine. One of the customers switched to Microsoft Edge and was able to place an order. He states he tried with his PC and his phone using Chrome and neither worked. Once he switched the browser to Edge everything worked fine. The link to my shop is https://davidsscalemodels.com/shop/ I sell decals for scale models and the options are for specific ships.

    I was able to replicate this issue in testing. I used this product: https://davidsscalemodels.com/product/1-350-lpd-san-antonio-class-hangar-bay-decal-set/

    In Chrome the options dropdown cannot be clicked. On Firefox it works without issue. One thing I noticed in comparing the two views is that in Chrome the Google Pay button was behaving oddly when I tried to click on the options dropdown. I’ve temporarily turned off the option to show the Google Pay option on the product page (it can be turned back on in the Google Pay settings page here) and that seems to have made the issue go away.

    Now if I try an options dropdown, I can click it without issue. Google Pay is no longer shown on the page, but if the visitor clicks the Add to Cart button they can use Google Pay in checkout there.

    Are you able to click the options in Chrome now as well? Also can you tell us more about your intention to offer Google Pay on product pages? You prefer that people be able to skip the cart when they are purchasing only one item?

    Thank you, I just checked and all is working. I do not remember turning on or offering Google Pay. It must have been something I accidently clicked within the last month or so. I know it was working fine at the beginning of August.
