Google Chrome error message when I try to open my blog site

When I try to open my blog site (on the wordpress domain) using Google Chrome, it shows the following error message: ‘Aw snap. Something went wrong while trying to display this website.’ I have disabled ad-blocker and my network is not the issue. Any suggestions?

Hi @tigergirl621, could you confirm what site you need help with? I see one on your account, but it’s loading up fine in my chrome.
Please send more information and we’ll go from there.

Your site loads fine for me in Chrome, so the problem is not with your site.
Are you logged into WordPress.com, or logged out when you try to view the site?
Does clearing the browser cache make any difference?
Also please check if the site loads if you use an incognito window in Chrome instead.

I’m logged in when I try to view the site. If I’m not logged in, it loads fine. But when i want to edit or view as author, I can’t load it.
Clearing the browser cache didn’t do anything unfortunately. I tried that. Same with incognito. Any other thoughts on what could be the matter?

Hi there,
Do you have any other extension outside of your ad blocker enabled? If so, I would disable those as well and see if that helps any. And you’re not receiving this message when logged in under a different browser, correct?

I have scihub enabled, but no other extensions. I could disable it, but it is useful for my daily work, that’s the only issue. And yes, I am able to log in properly if I use Internet Explorer.

Would you please check to see if it works properly without that extension, just to be sure we’re going down the right path?
